Supramar has been acting as Chartering Agents to its exclusive dry/wet cargo principals which mainly consist of steel and grain traders, construction and energy companies.
The duty of a Chartering Agent is to charter a vessel on voyage or period basis for the needs of a merchant. It may be appreciated that we are quite selective on the companies which we are to charter vessels.
The majority of the tonnage chartered in on account of Supramar consist of coasters, mini-bulkers and roro/mpp vessels.
